Do you perform outside the U.K?

 

Yes. I am happy to travel outside the U.K. Overseas performances to date include France, Norway, Switzerland, Bahrain, The Caribbean, The Mediterranean and New Zealand.

 

Can I book you to play at my wedding or private party?

 

Yes. I play at weddings, civil partnerships, private parties, company parties and charity events. For a quote, just get in touch, either directly by ‘phone, or by email.

 

Do you sing as well as play piano?

 

Yes! So, if it’s a party you’re thinking of having, singing would be a must, particularly for dancing!

 

Can I come and see you play live?

 

I sometimes play at public events, though not very often. Most of the events and parties I play at are private and this means it’s very difficult to get anyone in to see me play live. I try to compensate for this by providing lots of sound clips on a link from my Solo Entertainer Media page.

 

What if there isn’t a piano at the venue?

 

No problem. If there isn’t a piano at the venue, I will provide my own: a Roland RD-2000 digital stage piano. When combined with an EV Electro-Voice PA system this sounds just like a grand piano. I will also provide stage lighting, if required.

 

Do you take song requests?

 

As I am very busy, both as a solo musician and with my band, Party Beat, it can sometimes be difficult to find extra time in order to learn and rehearse specific songs outside of my regular playlist. Where I can accommodate however, I will try. Do please feel free to ask.

You are always of course welcome to choose specific songs from my regular playlist.

 

How long are your performances?

 

This varies, depending on what your musical requirements are. 

A typical performance for a party would cover a three-hour period, with breaks. I can play for longer than this if requested however. A performance for a wedding or civil partnership ceremony would be considerably shorter, of course. If drinks reception and/or wedding breakfast included, then longer again. How much does it cost to book you for my event?

 

The cost depends on the location, the date and the nature of the event. Please send me an email together with as much detail as possible to enable me to come back to you with a price.

 

What sort of stage size or space do you require in order to set up?

 

Ideally, an area of around 10’ x 15’ (approx. 3 x 4.5 metres). However, where space is tight, I can set up in a smaller area than this.

 

Is your equipment PAT certified?

 

Yes

 

Do you carry Public Liability Insurance?
